wonderful weekend

Well what a weekend I've had..... Fanbloomintastic thats what ! Celebrated on Friday night the engagement of our daughter Becky to her fiance James. We had a wonderful party with a Las Vegas theme as that is where he popped the question. The room was decorated casino style, and the Casino/Vegas cake was absolutely amazing made by my eldest daughter and tasted as good as it looked. Everyone had a fantastic night. Saturday was a full day working at Feathers doing readings and sharing time with visitors who popped in to say hi. Then Saturday night we all took off to watch our feathered friends Martyn & Lorraine who were competing in a dancing competition to raise funds and awareness for our local hospice. The night was a fab-u-lous occasion of sparkle, sequins and tripping the light fantastic. 11 couples took part learning to dance especially for this occasion, Martyn and Lorraine only went and blooming won. We were all so thrilled for them as they received the glitterball trophy as 'Strictly Learn to Dance Champions 2015'. So today has had to be chillax day. Sunday lunch at Mums, then back home for a snooze in front of a log fire. Hubby in one chair me in the other and an assortment of fur babies chilling out with us. Dont know who was snoring the loudest, us or the dogs ha ha. Off to Mums tonight to watch Strictly, then X-Factor, followed by Im a Celebrity. Few glasses of whisky and sprite into the bargain. What better way to finish off the weekend. Have a good week everyone xxx
